MOBISTEALTH IPHONE

Looks like there is going to be another spy phone vendor entering the iPhone spyware business. There are numerous reports that MobiStealth, one of the leaders in Android and BlackBerry spyware apps, is close to launching their MobiStealth iPhone spyware app. Although details are still a bit sketchy, I think it's safe to assume that MobiStealth's iPhone spy software will have all the "must have" iPhone spy features offered by their competitors.  These iPhone spy features include the following:

• GPS Tracking – This enables you to track an iPhone using the iPhone's built in GPS.
• View Text Messages – With this iPhone spyware feature, you'll be able to view incoming and outgoing text messages. This works even if the messages are deleted.
• Read Emails – This gives you access to all the emails sent or received on the iPhone.
• View Call Logs – This gives you all the recent call history data. Information includes date and time stamps, plus the number called, and the name associated to the number stored in the iPhone's contacts list.
• View Photos –View photos snapped on the iPhone are logged and sent to your online account (this is set up at time of purchase), which enables you to view the photos from anywhere in the world.
• View Contact List – View contacts stored on the iPhone, and also when new contacts are added to the iPhone.

Now in regards to the pricing, I’m guessing it will be similarly priced to their other iPhone spyware apps on the market. This would put MobiStealth's iPhone spy software priced around $39.99 to $50.00 for a 3 month license, and under $100 bucks for a 1yr license. Now if MobiStealth manages to release some of the more advanced iPhone spyware features such as remote monitoring, then you can probably expect to see MobiStealth iPhone spyware priced between $199 to $300.  Of course these are all assumptions at the moment, and exact features and pricing details won't be available until MobiStealth releases their iPhone spyware product.  As soon as the "official" announcement is made by MobiStealth, I'll be sure to post an update to the site with all the details on MobiStealth. I also think you can expect to see support for the iPhone 4. MobiStealth would not release an iPhone spyware app right now without supporting the iPhone 4, so if you're looking for a way to monitor an iPhone 4, MobiStealth iPhone spyware will be the product that will make it happen.

Mobile Spy (www.mobile-spy.net) has released an update to their iPhone spy software.

I often get emails from my readers asking me if I know of an iPhone spy app that doesn't cost a lot of money.

High end iPhone spy apps have unbelievable features, but the problem is that most people don't have $499 bucks to drop on an iPhone spy app.  So what else is out there? What iPhone spy apps can someone purchase if they only have a few bucks to spend?

'Find My iPhone' is part of Apple's MobileMe service used to locate a lost or stolen iPhone.  However, it's also a great tool for anyone who wants to track an iPhone.  Once you set it up on your partner's iPhone, you can instantly get updates on their location via your online MobileMe account. You'll also get to see the contacts they have stored on their phone, so you know who they are calling.

You do need to purchase a MobileMe account (you can sign up for a 60 day free trial, so you can get started without paying a dime), and then set it up on the iPhone you want to track, but once you do its a pretty cool way to track someone.  Here is a screenshot of how the service looks when you track an iPhone.

As you can see, once you log onto your MobileMe account to track the iPhone, you do get a pretty good picture of where your special someone is.

Bottom line, this is a great iPhone spy tracking app for someone who wants to monitor their kids because it does require you to physically set it up on their iPhone.  What makes this iPhone tracking app stand apart from the other iPhone tracking apps on the app store, is with the 'Find My iPhone' service, you don't need to request permission from the iPhone user every time you want to locate them, as opposed to the other tracking apps.

This iPhone spy app will turn your iPhone into a spy camera.  The way this iPhone spy app works, is that it enables you to snap photos based on various triggers.  For example, you can set it to snap a photo when a certain audio trigger is tripped.  Other features include a countdown timer that snaps a photo when time expires, and the ability to add a date/time stamp to the photos.

Reading through emails I received this past week, I noticed that a lot of people still think iPhone spyware is a scam, or it's something that really doesn't do everything they see advertised.  Although there are indeed a few questionable products out there (uhh can anyone say "bluetooth spy software"), iPhone spyware does indeed work.

A common question asked by readers, is if it's possible to install iPhone spyware without physical access to their iPhone.  Unfortunately, the answer is a big NO.  None of the spy phone vendors that currently sell iPhone spyware, have remote installation features, and I'm guessing it will be a very long time before they do.

Although technically possible, in my opinion it's a bit risky to create spy software that enables someone to remotely install it.  The possibilities for abuse would far exceed the benefit a company would get marketing such a product online. The reason is that installing an iPhone spyware app on an iPhone you don't own, or have consent to monitor and track, would create so many legal issues that it's just not worth going down that path. iPhone spyware apps should never attempted to be installed on an adult child, associate, etc.., by doing so the person who installed the software would be breaking numerous laws in their country.  This is the reason remote installation is not available. Although you can get someone to agree never to remote install on someone without their consent, how can you manage this to ensure they follow the law? You really can't hence the reason remote installation is not an option.

So what should you do if you cannot get physical access to their iPhone? Definitely don't waste your money on iPhone spyware.  I repeat, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I know there are few sites out there claiming that you can remotely install spy phone software on any type of phone.  However, the sad truth is that most of these are scams and the others just don't know what they are talking about.  Software sold by companies such as Mobile Spy require the iPhone spy app to be installed directly on the phone via a direct download using the iPhone's browser. Without physical access to the iPhone, not only will you not be able to download the spy app.

Bottom line, there is absolutely no way to install iPhone spyware without having physical access to the iPhone. (This also means being able to get past the PIN code if the iPhone is locked.)

Now you know, that no matter what you read online, there is no way to remotely install iPhone spyware, but at least there are other ways to get the information you want if you absolutely can't get access to their iPhone.
